Job description:
HR Assistant
Based - Lifton, Devon (PL16 0BB) This is a site based role, you will be required in the office 5 days per week.
Salary - circa £30,000 per annum
Permanent, full time (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week)
An opportunity has arisen at our Ambrosia Creamery in Lifton, Devon for an HR Assistant to join the team.You will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records and administration in relation to all elements of the employee lifecycle. Working with the site HR Business Partner and wider HR Team on our site People Plan, you will be part of making Lifton "a great place to work".
Please note, this is a site based role with no home working.
What you will be doing:
- Processing new starters,producing contracts and paperwork, addingemployees onto our HR system (MyHR)
- Processing leavers, conducting exit interviews and populating leaver tracker with data
- Producing the weekly KPI Dashboard reporting
- Support hiring managers with the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new starters in the business
- Drive improvements in the onboarding and exiting process for colleagues
- Respond to general queries from the HR inbox
- Own the absence management process, working with managers to highlight absence issues
What we need from you:
- Previous HR Administration experience from a busy environment
- Familiar with HR systems
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- A flexible approach - able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- CIPD Level 3 a preference, but not essential
